Operational risk software provider SunGard has acquired business continuity provider Strohl
WAYNE, PA – Data firm SunGard Availability Services has taken over business continuity planning specialists Strohl Systems to expand its range of business continuity and software for financial services firms.
Brian Turley, chief executive officer of Strohl Systems, says: “For the past 20 years, Strohl Systems has been solely dedicated to the design, development, distribution and support of business continuity software. We see our heritage as a perfect complement to SunGard’s 30 years of helping companies prepare for and recover from disruptions. We seek to offer our customers greater options for even more extensive business continuity services that only SunGard Availability Services can provide.”
