Asset manager technology hinders op risk management
Less than 40% of global asset managers believe they have the necessary technology to manage operational risk and automation issues effectively, according to a survey released last week.
Nearly half the respondents considered reduction of op risk and automation of trades to be important for development, and 62% wanted integrated, automated systems. Despite this, two thirds of the respondents were not considering outsourcing, but intended to employ integrated in-house systems.
