Tech glitches at Nasdaq
NEW YORK -- Nasdaq experienced intermittent trading outages lasting over an hour and a half on January 20, a Nasdaq spokesperson confirms.
The outages started at 9.35am EST and were "wholly resolved" by 11.00am, according to the spokesperson. Bloomberg reported, though, that issues were not resolved until 11.05am. The Nasdaq Trader website states that a network switch failure affected in-bound routed orders on January 20, and that Nasdaq had resolved all issues for trading that day.
