Royal Bank Of Canada Automates Its Documentation Workflow

ROYAL Bank of Canada (RBC) is enhancing its trade documentation and workflow systems to provide additional information for operational and credit risk managers. The Toronto-based bank uses Open Image, a document imaging and workflow system from Shared Network Services (SNS).

Karen Haist, RBC's manager of trading documentation, says the bank is developing a "summary document" for each of its master agreements. This document condenses some 90 fields of information into a "cheat sheet", she adds
