FX Committee To Set Out Guidelines On The Single European Currency

NEW YORK--The US Foreign Exchange Committee, an industry body affiliated with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, is set to launch a series of recommendations on quoting, deal conversions and settlement conventions ahead of the launch of the single European currency next year. Eileen Spinner, secretary to the committee, says the recommendations will be based on its research paper, entitled EMU: Guide to Operational Issues in the Foreign Exchange Market, to be published later this month.
