Fixed income gets algorithmic

Rivoli has applied algorithmic trading techniques to the fixed income market - with some interesting results

The French regulator, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), has made headlines recently by allowing onshore hedge funds in France in the form of OPCVM.

This is not France's first flirtation with the asset class. There has been some form of money market fund - with a twist towards hedge funds onshore - since 1988, so there are some very experienced managers in the country.
