Dowgate advises firms on their gaining admission to Aim - but also, in June 2001, gained admission to Aim itself.

As a nominated adviser (Nomad) Dowgate is approved by the London Stock Exchange and must demonstrate they can assess whether a company (client) is suitable for admission to Aim. It then acts as that company's formal 'mentor' once it has been admitted to the market. It administers the admission documents of the companies for
