BNPP recruits Goodwin to head corporate sales in New York

Deron Goodwin’s appointment from RBS comes weeks after the departure of Clive Banks and John Chase in London

BNP Paribas has appointed Deron Goodwin to head up its corporate foreign exchange sales desk in New York. He will start in early October and will report to Brian Jalazo, head of corporate derivatives marketing in the US.

Goodwin joins from Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), where he was senior vice-president in foreign exchange risk management for large corporates, based in New York. He joined RBS in 2007, after quitting Barclays Capital, where he was a director in corporate foreign exchange sales
