Promotions at BNP Paribas

Spyros Gkinis has been appointed head of oil trading alongside his current role as global head of oil options trading. He will be reporting to Alex Benech, global head of commodities trading.

In addition, Joel McCarthy, currently a senior fuel oil trader, has been appointed global head of oil products trading, reporting to both Gkinis and Benech.

Both roles are London-based.
