US House Ags Committee reviews Treasury derivatives plan

Members of the US House Agriculture Committee voiced concerns today that government proposals for regulating over-the-counter derivatives would negatively affect end users.

At the first of two hearings to examine US Treasury proposals published on August 11, the committee heard from two panels of industry stakeholders, including representatives from Cargill, the American Public Gas Association, Delta Airlines and CME Group.
