Steve Letbetter has resigned as chairman and chief executive (CEO) of Houston-based Reliant Resources, an energy services and electricity provider and subsidiary of Reliant Energy. Joel Staff, a member of the board, takes over as interim chairman and CEO. The company has hired search firm Spencer Stuart to look for a permanent CEO.
