Beat von Gunten, global head of markets, retail distribution and investor products sales at Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), has joined BNP Paribas in London as head of client strategy for global equities and commodity derivatives (GECD), according to sources familiar with the situation. Von Gunten will start work in his new role on July 14 and will report to BNP's deputy global head of GECD, Olivier Osty.
