PrinceRidge sings the praises of structured products

PrinceRidge Group distributes structured products to a client base that includes leading broker-dealers across the US. Yakob Peterseil talks to managing director Joe Castelluccio about what he has learned in 35 years on Wall Street

"We're seeing demand for riskier products," says Joe Castelluccio, New York-based co-head of middle markets at PrinceRidge investment bank, when asked about trends he is seeing in the market right now. "There is interest in barrier notes, and we're seeing a very strong interest in steepeners," he says.

"I think it's linked to the buoyancy of the stock market," says Castelluccio. "Stocks to me are a confidence index, and when people are jubilant about the stock market, it seems to put confidence
