Investors seek private legal action in misselling cases

The UK Financial Services Authority has fined RSM Tenon Financial Services in the first enforcement case to arise from its review of the marketing and sales of structured products, but many investors are turning to private litigation in their search for compensation over misselling cases.

“Investors are looking through their portfolios for products that have lost money not just for purely economic reasons. For example, because it was the wrong product for their risk profile and requirements,”
