FTSE partners with Borsa Italiana to launch new indexes
FTSE has partnered with Borsa Italiana, the Italian stock exchange, to create two new indexes for use in the Italian market.
The creation of the FTSE MIB dividend index follows FTSE's takeover of the MIB, Italy's blue-chip index. The index represents the cumulative value of the dividends declared by the companies that make up the underlying FTSE MIB index. It is designed to provide a basis for derivatives, tracker funds, exchange-traded funds and other structured products.
