US Wrap: RBC offers festive feast of convertibles as year draws to close
Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has made a sizeable addition to the recent bumper issuances of reverse convertible notes by Barclays Bank and ABN Amro. The latest launches make December one of the most active months of 2009 for the notes.
RBC's offerings include several names that have rarely been off the reverse convertible menu throughout 2009, such as Chesapeake Energy, Freeport McMoran Copper and Gold, Research in Motion, First Solar, Las Vegas Sands and Mosaic.
