When international IT company Sopra Group acquired Belgium-based Business Architects International (BAI) in September 2006, the merger created the largest pan-European software supplier for the mortgage and loans processing industry. Sopra software manages the entire life cycle of a mortgage, from origination, application and processing through to arrears management.
