Analyst exodus from sell side continues

Sell-side analysis underwent further cuts in February as ABN Amro shed two from its credit analysis team. Kathrina Evans, senior European financials analyst, responsible for banks and insurance coverage, and Richard Morawetz, public sector and media analyst, left the bank on February 16. Roger Appleyard, head of credit research at the bank in London, declined to comment on the departures.
