BlackRock loses Marais
Nicolaas Marais to join Schroders.
Nicolaas Marais will join Schroders in March as head of multi-asset solutions. He joins from BlackRock, where he has been global head of active portfolio management in its multi-asset group since January 2010. Prior to that, he was global head of strategy at Barclays Global Investors until its acquisition by BlackRock. Based in London, Marais reports to Michael Dobson, chief executive.
