Commerzbank adds new fixed income head

Nikolaus Giesbert will join Commerzbank in September as its new head of fixed income and currency sales. He will be based in Frankfurt and replaces Ralf Werres, who will leave the bank at the end of June.

Giesbert is currently managing director in the global capital markets group at Morgan Stanley, as well as the bank’s head of financial institutional coverage for Europe. He has worked for Morgan Stanley since 2002, joining as head of covered bond and primary bond origination for Germany.
