Allen & Overy has appointed a new partner in its London-based US corporate finance group. Robert Williams joins the law firm from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom, where he was a partner from 2001.
Williams was head of Skadden’s Sydney office, where he led the team advising the Australian government in its privatisation of Telstra, the Australian telecoms and media company.
