Iberdrola Renovables denies reports of investment slash

Spanish renewable energy company Iberdrola Renovables denies reports in the UK media that it has cut its investment in UK wind by 40% or £300 million. The company told Energy Risk it still plans to deliver all wind projects penned for this year and will continue with its strategic plan to invest EUR18.8 billion by the end of 2012.

"Last year, we were building Europe's largest wind farm in Glasgow, which was over 300MW. This year, the project was completed," a spokesperson for parent company
