Kuo-Shing Chen

Kuo-Shing Chen is the Director of Accounting Office, Tainan Municipal Gongyuan School, Tainan, Taiwan and a part-time Assistant Professor at Shih Chien University, Kaohsiung Campus, where he teaches Financial Management. He received his Ph.D. degree in Finance (with a specialization in real estate finance) from National Sun Yat-sen University and has received several research awards e.g. the 2011 Taiwan Conference on Business and Information (TBI), Taipei.

His research focus is on risk management, real estate finance, public finance and tax system reform. His academic papers on reverse mortgages and tax reform have appeared in the Journal of Applied Banking and Finance, International Journal of Financial Research, and Journal of Housing Study, among others.
