Rothschilds offers fund of market neutral funds

Rothschilds takes a historic step away from its traditional multi-manager structure with focused product

The private bank of Edmond de Rothschild is to launch a fund of market neutral hedge funds in the autumn focused on just four or five underlying holdings.

Franck Payrar, deputy first vice-president and global investment strategist at Luxembourg-based Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild Luxembourg, said the fund of funds, to be called Horizon Serenity, would have no minimum initial subscription levels. It will be targeted at more experienced investors who may already have half a dozen individual
