The Crescendo European Fund, Scudder Threadneedle Investment's hedge fund that launched in September 2000, has reopened to new business.

Hitesh Bharkhda, hedge fund business manager at Scudder Threadneedle, evaluated the first four months of the fund's performance as a "very interesting and tough time".
