Russia continues to lead the way as emerging markets find favour again

President Putin's stewardship has provided a platform for economic growth and investment in Russia. Smaller markets would do well to follow suit

After being shunned in the late 1990s, emerging markets are back in favour among a broader range of investors, fundamentally stronger than before, more stable and offering opportunities in regions likely to grow.
