Caledonia backs Henderson trio

Brian Ashford-Russell, Timothy Woolley and David Magliocco who managed a £2.8bn portfolio in technology-related investments at Henderson Investors announced that they were leaving to establish their own hedge fund this month. Caledonia Investments agreed to buy a 20% stake in the new firm. The new team is believed to want to limit assets to £1.5bn.
