Eurex and Taifex to launch cross-listed CNH derivatives

Frankfurt exchange expands its co-operation agreements with Taifex

Taiwan Futures Exchange (Taifex) and Frankfurt-based Eurex are looking to expand their existing co-operation agreements by launching exchange-traded offshore renminbi futures, according to Shih Chuan Tsai, Taipei-based senior executive vice-president at Taifex.

Taifex will be the third exchange in the world, after Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing and CME, to offer CNH futures contracts for global investors if negotiations on the launch are successful. Singapore Exchange is also planning to
