Citi adds new head for Asian FX team

Citi continues Asian FX team expansion by relocating Perret-Green from Citi's Europe markets division to Asia to head FX strategy. Citi says its foreign exchange daily trading volumes exceed $15 billion a day in Asia.

Patrick Perret-Green will join Citigroup as head of foreign exchange and local markets strategy for Asia excluding Japan. He will relocate to Singapore from London, where he has run the trading book for Citi's European markets division since 2007.

In the newly created role, Perret-Green will be responsible for the development of the Asian FX and local markets strategy. He will report to Nadir Mahmud, Asia head of FX, local markets trading and risk treasury for Citi, who is also based in
