DDQ raises participation rates for commodity products

In an unusual move Dawnay Day Quantum (DDQ), the UK specialist investment manager, has raised participation rates in the latest issue of its Protected Commodities Turbo Series, over and above what was promised in the offer period.

Both the Protected Commodities Accelerator VI and Protected Commodities Turbo III, which closed at the end of November, provided investors with geared upside exposure to physical commodities, and capital protection.

With the underlying securities purchased on Friday 1 December, the latest issue size was ahead of original expectations. As a result DDQ has been able to increase the upside participation delivered to investors, exceeding the launch prospectus details.
