Rapid growth in hedge funds generates new net services

The internet's potential for marketing hedge funds has been underlined by the recent acquisition of website HedgeFund.net by a group of investors that includes alternative investment fund Capital Z Investments. The site, which the group acquired from Tuna Group, is an industry portal for hedge fund information.

However, the rapid expansion of online services for hedge fund investors has been matched by growing concern about whether these sites are adequately regulated.
