Booth to head credit trading at RBS

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has hired Stewart Booth as head of credit trading for the capital markets division of RBS Financial Markets. Booth will not only run trading for credit derivatives, but also RBS' investment grade and high-yield businesses.

Booth moves from JP Morgan Chase, and previously worked in credit markets at Bear Stearns and Merrill Lynch.

He will report to Symon Drake-Brockman, global head of capital markets. RBS is seeking to build its profile in credit markets by focusing on securitisation, structured and leveraged finance.
