SunGard launches updated PTA
SALT LAKE CITY – SunGard, the provider of software and processing solutions to the financial services, has launched a new version of its Personal Trading Assistant (PTA), a code of ethics and employee compliance solution for financial institutions.
Protegent PTA 3.0 is an improvement on PTA 2.96 which has been on the market for about six months. SunGard has renamed the solution Protegent PTA, formerly called PTA by Dataware Solutions, which SunGard acquired in March.
Chris Aronis, the vice-president for business development at SunGard said the solution helps compliance personnel ensure compliance with SEC rules that require reporting on personal accounts.
