New US tradable high-yield index launched
by Hardeep Dhillon iBoxx has debuted a second product designed to take market share from Trac-x
The high-yield universe has become the latest battlefield between iBoxx and Trac-x, with iBoxx launching a rival to Trac-x’s US high-yield index and both launching European high-yield credit indices.
In the same month that Trac-x – now under the auspices of index provider Dow Jones – rolled out the latest 100 names for its North American high-yield index, iBoxx launched its CDX.NA.HY. As with Trac-x North America, iBoxx.CDX.NA.HY allows investors to take exposure on 100 high-yield
