Providers place product platforms on a pedestal

Platforms for success

Integrated circuit

Ten years after the creation of the first structured product platform, there are now 10 online platforms on which it is possible for private bankers to make a selection from a variety of payouts and underlyings to create their own tailor-made structured products for their wealthy clients.

"The platforms all deliver the ability to transact structured products online," says Frank Copplestone, managing director and global head of the retail structured products platform at Morgan Stanley in London.
