SocGen AM departees form new sales team at Caam

Credit Agricole Asset Management (Caam) has made two new structured products sales appointments within its institutional, corporate and distributors international division. Franck du Plessix has been hired for the new role of head of structured product sales, while Alexandre Schneebeli has been taken on as his deputy.

Both members of the new team have joined the business from rival firm Société Générale Asset Management (SGAM). Du Plessix has spent his entire career with SG, most recently holding the post of head of sales for structured asset management at SGAM Alternative Investments from 2003.

Du Plessix began his career with the organisation as an options trader in 1988. Subsequent roles included heading the Asian currency options desk in both Tokyo and Singapore, and commercial director for private wealth
