Elisa Luciano - University of Torino & Fondazione Collegio Carlo Alberto

Elisa Luciano is Professor of Finance at the University of Torino, Research Fellow of ICER, Fellow of Collegio Carlo Alberto, Associate Fellow of FERC/Warwick. She holds a BA in Economics and a PhD in Applied Mathematics. Deputy Director of the Statistics and Applied Mathematics Department, she is the Director of both the Postgraduate Master in Finance and the Master in Insurance and Risk Management of the University of Torino. She sits in the Scientific Committees of the PhD program in Institutions, Law and Economics (joint with Cornell, Gent and Prague University, École Politechnique de Paris) and the Pareto Graduate School, Math field. She also acts as a consultant for major banks and law firms.

She has published extensively in Academic journals, including the Journal of Finance, Insurance, Mathematics and Economics, the Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance Theory, the Scandinavian Actuarial Journal. She has published also in Risk and the Risk books. She received an Emerald Literati Network Best Paper Award in 2009. She has written books for J.Wiley and E.Elgar.
