Citi appoints new OTC clearing head for EMEA

In-house lawyer to step into role vacated by Andrew Sterry

Silas Findley, an in-house lawyer at Citi, will be the bank's new head of over-the-counter derivatives clearing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The appointment fills a vacancy created when Andrew Sterry moved to Standard Chartered in March this year. Sterry had been in the job for two years.

Findley, a managing director at the bank, will move from his current role in the general counsel's office within Citi's capital markets division. He is expected to take up his new role
