Japan's Industrial Bank of Japan, Fuji Bank and Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank announced plans to move operations and form the world's largest bank with an estimated $1.3 trillion dollars.

Victor Wang, the former chairman of Duke & Co., a defunct New York brokerage firm, pleaded guilty to three crimes--enterprise corruption, as well as securities fraud and money laundering.
