Iosco plans conduct task force to combat 'ingrained' behaviour

International Organization of Securities Commissions steps into conduct and culture area with launch of task force on conduct regulation worldwide

Following in the wake of the UK's Fair and Effective Markets Review (FEMR), published on June 10, the International Organization of Securities Commissions (Iosco) has said that it will establish a task force to scrutinise and set standards for conduct in the global financial markets.

Greg Medcraft, chair of the Iosco board and chairman of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, told
