Prof. Israel Waismel-Manor is an Associate Professor at the School of Political Science, University of Haifa (Ph.D. Cornell University) and is the head of the Political Behavior Lab. His research focuses political behavior and participation, democratic backsliding and the interconnectedness of physical and mental health and politics. His research was published in leading political science, communication and medical journals, and featured in various media outlets including the New York Times and Haaretz. He was a visiting professor at Stanford University and Cornell University.
