State Street Global Advisers has hired Scott Ebner to its London office in a new role as head of ETFs

Ebner joins State Street's London office

State Street Global Advisors has hired Scott Ebner in a new role as managing director and global head of exchange-traded fund (ETF) product development in its London office.

Ebner will report to James Ross, senior managing director and global head of ETFs at State Street Global Advisors. Commenting on the hire, Ross said: "Scott brings a breadth of ETF knowledge that will be a valuable asset to our global ETF business."

Ebner will focus on developing and launching SPDR ETFs in key markets across
