What is included in a subscription?

There are a number of packages available to suit your business needs - Risk.net Premium, Risk.net Business or Risk.net Journals.

How do I order back issues or additional copies?

Back issues are available to purchase. Simply email customer services or phone +44 (0)870 787 6822  .

Please include all the following information:

  • Subscription Reference number (located on your invoice, address label on your magazine, and renewal notices)
  • Full name
  • Company address
  • Department
  • Desk number (if applicable)
  • Publication name
  • Issue number/month of publication(s)
  • Payment details

How can I pay?

You can pay for your subscription online by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). We DO NOT accept Diners card. You will receive immediate access using credit card payments for online subscriptions.

Alternatively, you can send a cheque by post to our Customer Services team at the address below. Please make cheques payable to "Incisive Financial Publishing" (UK) or "Incisive RWG Inc" (US) and include your order form. Your invoice will state payment options, including details of cheque and bank transfers.

We also accept BACS transfer. Please view Incisive Media's account details

You can request an invoice be sent to your company by emailing customer services
Online access will only be granted upon receipt of payment. Please note that your subscription (both print and online) will not commence until full payment has been received.

How do I renew my subscription?

You will be notified by email and post when your subscription is due for renewal to ensure there is no lapse in service. If you have subscribed to an online product you will be able to view the expiry date in the My Account tab located on the top right-hand side. The expiry date of your subscription will also be detailed in your subscriber letters and emails.

What will appear on my credit card statement?

Incisive Financial Publishing Ltd will appear as the company name. If you subscribed via an agent you will need to contact them directly.

Where can I find my subscription reference number?

You will find your subscriber reference number on your renewal notices, invoice and address label of your magazine.

How long does it take to set up my Risk.net access?

If you have subscribed online for a Risk.net Premium, Risk.net Business or Risk.net Journals subscription, you will automatically receive an email to activate your web access. The activation link is only valid for 48 hours, Once you have activated this link you will then have immediate access, which is only temporary. Full access will be provided once payment has been received. In order to gain instant full access it is advised to pay by credit card.

If you subscribe via post or telephone, your details are manually keyed on to the system and within 48 working hours, your online account will be activated.

How long does it take to set up my app access?

If you are a current subscriber to Risk.net Business or Risk.net Premium you can use your existing login to access the app once you have downloaded it from the app store.

If you are a new subscribers to Risk.net Business or Risk.net Premium you will receive an email to activate your login. The activation link is only valid for 48 hours. Once you have activated this link you will then have immediate access, which is only temporary. Full access will be provided once payment has been received. In order to gain instant full access it is advised to pay by credit card.

If you subscribe via post or telephone, your details are manually keyed on to the system and within 48 working hours, your online account will be activated.

Users who are part of an Enterprise Subscription and do not have a username or password simply need to contact us on  +44 (0) 20 7316 9592   or email corpsubs@risk.net and we will activate your access.

My username/password is not recognised.

You can reset your password by clicking here and you will receive an email with a new activation link to update your details. If you haven’t received an activation email from us, please check your junk folder.

If you continue to have problems logging in, contact our customer service team at cs@incisivemedia.com or by calling us on +44(0)870 787 6822  .

I have forgotten my username and password

Your username will be the email address you used to subscribe.
If you have forgotten your password use the forgotten password, enter the email address you subscribed with and click 'Submit'. You will then be able to reset your password. Please note that in order to protect your security, we do not hold password information.

If you have not created a password and did not click on the activation link within 48 hours, please contact customer services who will assist you further.

Please include:

  • Subscriber reference number 
  • Full name
  • Company name
  • Full address 
  • Contact telephone number

My company has an Incisive Enterprise Subscription and I'm unable to log in to the website

If you have an Incisive Enterprise Subscription and are unable to log in, there may be a problem with your IP Access. Please contact kaqueries@incisivemedia.com who will be able to help you further.

Please include:

How do I change my delivery address or username (email address)?

You can update your details at any time. Please remember to include the following details when sending your changes to Customer Services

  • Subscription reference number
  • Current delivery method or email address
  • New delivery or email address
  • Date to activate new delivery or email address

How do I claim for any missed issues?

Please note: our period for claiming a missing issue is within the last three cover dates. This is to ensure we have the issues in stock and so we can look into the problem further. Please contact customer services as soon as possible, stating the subscription number and the cover date of the issue you are missing.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you no longer wish to continue with your subscription, you are able to transfer your payment to a more relevant product. Please see the full details of all our products. Alternatively, you can transfer your subscription to a colleague at any point during the year. Please include all your account details, as listed below, if you wish to transfer your subscription.

If neither of these options are of interest and you simply wish to cancel your subscription, please contact our customer services team at incisivehv@subscription.co.uk and include the following information:

  • Account name
  • Subscription reference number
  • Publication you want to cancel
  • Date that you want cancellation to commence

Can I get a refund on my subscription?

All refunds that relate to Incisive Media products or services are at the discretion of Incisive Media as stated in the Terms and Conditions.

What are Incisive Media's account details?

Email alerts

How do I sign up for email alerts?

You are entitled to receive the latest daily online news analysis service. All the brands within Risk.net - Asia Risk, Energy Risk, Insurance Risk, Operational Risk & Regulation, Risk and Structured Products – post articles on the fast-moving world of complex and sophisticated finance, regulation, derivatives and risk management. Risk.net enables you to customise the information you receive, so whether your interest is in derivatives, operational risk or technology, you only sign up to the daily, weekly or breaking news on the stories you want to receive.

I've signed up for email alerts, but I’m not receiving them?

Newsletters can be stopped by company firewalls and spam filters. Please check with your IT Department about allowing the newsletter through. If this is not the case, please contact customer services and we can look into this matter and double check your email address is on the newsletter distribution list. To ensure safe delivery of your email alerts please add our email address to your safe senders list. Learn how to do this here

How do I change my preferences or unsubscribe from an email newsletter?

You can change your preferences or unsubscribe from email newsletters at any time. Please unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email alert or emailing database@incisivemedia.com.

How do I sign up for a free trial to a product?

To sign up for a free trial, please click the free trial button, which is located on the homepage of Risk.net. Alternatively, please click here and follow the instructions. Each trial lasts 2 weeks and gives you access to subscriber only content on the website, as well as print copies of the magazine. Please note that you are entitled to four free trials to different brands per customer.

Does everything that appears in the magazine appear on Risk.net and the app?

Yes, all articles that are printed are also published online and via the app. However, there are specific articles that are not available in print that can only be accessed at Risk.net.

Incisive Media are keen to hear your views. If you have a comment about an article that has appeared on Risk.net, there is a comment link at the bottom of each article. Click on the link and you will be directed to a short form. Complete the short contact details and type your comment into the space provided and then click submit. Can I change the text size on the website?

Yes - On your internet browser click 'Tools', On your internet browser click ‘Tools’, select text size and choose the best option for you.

How do I sign up to Twitter/LinkedIn groups?

To join the Risk community on Twitter and LinkedIn, you first need to sign up for a free account with these sites and create your own profile. You can then join our LinkedIn Group and take part in discussion groups and meet other members, or follow our twitter accounts to get updates on news articles or latest promotions.

Are the Risk apps free?

The Risk.net apps are free for all paid subscribers to Risk.net Business and Risk.net Premium.

Please note: If you subscribed before 1st January 2014 to a print and app or app only package you can only access the app for your chosen brand

I already subscribe to Risk.net, are the apps included in my subscription?

If you currently subscribe to Risk.net Business or Risk.net Premium you are also entitled to receive Risk.net apps. You simply need to visit the app store to download them. Your login details for the apps will be the same as the ones you use on the website.

If you are a print only or app only subscriber to Risk, Asia Risk, Energy Risk, Hedge Funds Review, Insurance Risk, Operational Risk & Regulation or Structured Products, once your subscription expires you must upgrade your package to Risk.net Business or Risk.net Premium to continue receiving the apps.

My company has a Enterprise Subscription with automatic access to Risk.net - we don't have usernames and passwords. How will I access the app?

Will I only get the latest edition or will I keep all the back issues I've downloaded?

You'll keep every issue you download, building up a Risk library of editions you can access at any time.

Does the app edition contain everything the print magazine contains?

Yes, each month our publications will be reformatted to make the most of your tablet and mobile's functionality while retaining its familiar feel. It will contain all the articles, charts and images from each month's print edition.

Once I have finished with an issue, how do I delete it from my device to save space?

Simply go to the issues screen and tap on the 'library' tab. Then select 'edit' and you can delete any issues from the screen.

Problems with links and downloads?

Double check you have an active internet connection (either Wi-Fi or 3G) and ensure you have the latest operating system installed. It is likely that this could be affecting the performance of your device - you can download the latest version from iTunes.

Alternatively, if you are running off the latest software try uninstalling the app and re-installing it, or deleting the issue and attempting to download again. You could also try closing all other apps as they may be slowing the performance of your device.
