Schubert switches from GDV to Munich Re

Thomas Schubert, head of business administration at the German Insurance Association (GDV) has joined Munich Re where he will head up its governmental relations team. He will be responsible for a broad range of issues including climate change as well as dealing with financial regulation initiatives such as Solvency II. The GDV is expected to name a replacement for Schubert by November and in the meantime his responsibilities will be covered by Axel
