Hederman to leave top Ferc job

William Hederman, director of the Office of Market Oversight and Investigations (OMOI) at the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Ferc), has announced he will return to the private sector by early 2006. Ferc spokesman Bryan Lee would not comment on who might replace him. Hederman says he is in discussions with several firms, exploring opportunities in Washington, DC and elsewhere, in executive leadership, finance and consulting. He says his next move would ideally be into executive
