Pearl announces new team

Following the successful completion of its takeover of Resolution for £5 billion, Pearl, the closed fund group chaired by Hugh Osmond, has finalised a new management structure. Jonathan Moss, formerly group chief actuary of Pearl, has been appointed group chief executive, and Simon Smith continues in his role as group finance director. Ian Maidens, formerly Resolution's chief actuary, becomes Pearl's group chief actuary. The pre-merger Pearl and Resolution life businesses
