Persson new CEA president

Tommy Persson was elected president of the CEA at the federation's General Assembly in Berlin on June 13. He will serve a term of three years. He takes over from Gerard de La Martiniere, who has completed a four-year term.

Persson was CEO of Sweden's Lansforsakringar AB from 1996 until May 2008. Lansforsakringar, with 24 independent regional insurance companies and the jointly owned Lansforsakringar AB, is Sweden's only locally established mutual banking and insurance
