Jimi Hinchliffe is a former regulator, operational risk and regulatory affairs professional. He completed his PhD on financial regulation and public choice economics in 2000 and then joined the UK Financial Services Authority to work in operational risk policy. He joined MUFG in 2008 to manage the policy, risk and regulatory affairs department. In 2016 he left MUFG to form NJ Risk and Regulatory Consulting Ltd to provide professional services in the fields of op risk and regulatory affairs. Jimi leads the England and Wales division of the Institute of Operational Risk.
