Sumitomo Finance International Selects Summit For Bonds Risk

Sumitomo Finance International (SFI), the London-based bonds trading subsidiary of Japan's Sumitomo Bank, has signed up for a suite of risk management applications from Summit Systems.

The first of these - a middle office value-at-risk (VAR) engine - has already gone live in London, less than three months after SFI decided on Summit. The securities house now plans to roll out the system globally, say SFI officials.
