CityNet Conversation Checker adds forex options

City Networks has added vanilla currency options to its CityNet Conversation Checker, reports RiskNews’ sister publication, FX Week .

The tool, which stores, analyses and reconciles dealing error conversations with tickets from Reuters, EBS and e-trading systems, already covered spot and forwards foreign exchange, outrights and forex swaps. Exotic options and interest rate swaps are next on the agenda, the firm said.

Janet Yagle, managing director for North America, said conversational dealing is risky. “This tool reduces that risk by using keywords to search through the conversations and turn missed trades into a confirmation," she said.
